About

Clayton Hamilton is a saxophonist and educator based in Nashville, TN. Clayton was recently a band director in Burlington, VT, as well as an avid performer.

Performances include:

  • Solo artist with the Solaris Vocal Ensemble tour ‘20, ‘23

  • The Vermont Symphony Orchestra

  • The Burlington Civic Orchestra

  • The Vermont Wind Ensemble

As an educator, Clayton has helped his private students achieve top places in the VT All State Concert Band and Jazz Band, as well as preparing his band students for regional and state festivals. Clayton is a licensed educator in the state of TN.

Education

  • Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music

  • Bachelor of Music in Education from Houghton University.

His previous teachers include Rob Knopper, Ken Radnofsky, Dr. Chisato Eda Marling, and Demetrius Spaneas.
